SuitSat1 passing by the Clock - Horologium

First good sunlit night pass since SuitSat was released. However it was fainter than predicted. Still the thought of being able to spot a tumbling Space Suit at ~ 360Km away is marvellous.

A tumbling satellite leaves a 'barb' wire trail

I was testing the "peak-hold w/o generating avi file"
in UFOCapture software.
Then I found this single image.
The trail was ID using Skymap to be 81-050B
or Intelsat 5-1 R/B flasher.

I got 1/2 a flare tonight..

I readied my 12mm lens and had Canopus on the lower left hand corner to give room for the -3 mag Iridum flare to appear inside the FOV. But I was temporary distracted and by the time I saw it on the screen it was closed to max .. .. i hit the record button and got half a flare instead.
